Crown Castle/NextG Malibu Canyon Fire Settlement

Settlement between the California Public Utilities Commission and Crown Castle (formerly known as NextG Networks of California) regarding the 2007 Malibu Canyon Fire.  The fire resulted when an overloaded utility pole collapsed during Santa Ana Winds.   Crown Castle agreed to pay $14.5 Million, made multiple admissions as part of the settlement, agreed to practice changes going forward, and to make corrections to existing CPUC General Order 95 violations.
